Candlelit Stairs

These Mason Jars have come in so handy this season….
(actually they are recycled peanut butter jars)

Since my staircase is the first thing you see as you enter my home….
this is a way to decorate them and welcome guests.
Not in the way of foot traffic, it adds a little flickering light
 to the ebony stained staircase.
The numbers painted on the jars tie in with the other decor in my home.
Welcome Guests!

Lovely idea! Just curious why no 5?

Hi Holly!Stopping by from Terrific under ten Tuesdays. This is a great idea! and really cute, I think I'm going to try this, There is an staircase at my home too but mine goes down so the final effect won't be as good as yours but anyway I'll try.Greetings from Spain

I recently found your blog and love it. Listed you on my side bar so I don't miss any posts 🙂

Just took your home tour — just beautiful! I love so many things … but you really grabbed my interest with our shared love of \”numbered\” things … and the 3/4 high wainscoting in the first floor!

Holly your stairs have such a festive glow! Would love to do this but with kids and a Labradoodle the house would go up in flame! lol Deidre~

Love how that looks! I couldn't do that because my stairs have icky carpet. Trade ya! Yours are pretty with the black stain.
