Industrial ~ Shab { Bedding }

I shared our redesigned Industrial Shab Bedroom in this post.

Today I am sharing where I got the bedding and why I chose it.
I love white bedding. It looks so fresh and clean. This comforter set is from Rachel Ashwell purchased at Target for $99. It includes the king comforter and two white pillow cases. The sheets are from Target and cost $29 for the king set. I think the stripe adds a masculine pattern against the feminine ruffles in the white comforter.
The two dark “narly” pillows are from Target and cost $24 each and the large ticking stripe Euro pillow is old – from TJ Maxx $9. The dust ruffle is an Ikea purchase from many years ago.
The grey pillows are Homegoods finds for $17 each. I also found the throw blanket there for the same price.
I love contrast rather than loud prints so I chose grey, white and, of course, black and white to lay against my walls painted with Northampton Putty by Ben Moore. The round center pillow pulls that same color to the bed and makes it all blend (that pillow is old, too – TJ Maxx $10).
This room looks like it is for a girl in some ways and a boy in others. So my hubby and I are both very happy.
I make my bed fluffy with down comforters. Even in the summer. I like the weight of them and just use a fan to keep it cool in there.
I will share the window coverings and accessories in a day or so.

  1. Showing this to my DIL. She been toying with a grey and white room , trying to blend the masculine ( my son) and feminine ( her) and having a time of it. I have been letting her sort it , but she asked for help yesterday. Now I will pop in with ideas and opinions :-)Luv it Holly. Happy today!Hugs, Gee

  2. Your bedroom is a nice mix of different things including the bedding. Very resourceful! It's nice that you've blended both masculine and feminine traits in the room.

  5. ‘I love it!!! Sure not all of it is to my taste, but that’s what I really like about your place! It’s you and it’s your home, not just a place that looks like it’s been “styled” to within an inch of it’s life. I’ve really enjoyed watching progress on your lovely home and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all. Thanks for sharing it all with us…now onto the next project!!

  6. I have the same bedding and it is wonderful. It is rumply and love how light it feels. It's been perfect for our Texas heat. Don't you love Target?I still can't get over your headboard. It is just so cool.
