I know I just shared a mantel display for fall but I’m coming at you with another one real quick.
One night after styling this mantel I had to snap some pictures. It doesn’t come through as much in the photo but this evening glow was so peaceful.
The pumpkin art was great but felt a little too early for pumpkins, even though it’s September. Our temperature has finally cooled off outside and it feels amazing. Pumpkins are coming but if you know me – pumpkins aren’t my favorite, neither is Halloween. But I am not skipping it completely.
I’ll see if anyone dares grab my fall storage bin out of our packed storage closet in the attic. I’ll ask the guys.
Here’s the daytime view on a dreary day. I should have had the fire going but on this day, it was too hot.
Let me show some of the details:
I already had these pinecones from the last mantel display. They were gathered from around our yard. I love having some sort of natural accent among my vintage gold pieces. A mixed style of a more formal gold & rustic look.
This topiary was a Goodwill find. I took off the greenery that was on it so I could see the twiggy cone. I just wrapped some fall floral in sparsely. and coated the urn in Rub-N-Buff/European Gold.
I have quite a collection of brass candle stick holders and they are always good to throw on the mantel.
I love numbers and was so happy to find the weekly candles at H&M home.
I through a wreath and antlers up there on a hook and a pathos plant on a small riser on the hearth.
It’s moody, vintage and rustic. All the style vibes I am feeling this fall.
I’ll be back with an update on our stairs very soon. Also moody, vintage & rustic.
Have a beautiful week!
