Hello and Happy March!
Finally the winter seems to be coming to an end and I am getting over a never ending sinus infection. It’s been a long month but I am super excited to share pictures of my sister’s newly updated kitchen.
Here are some before and after pictures…
It’s pretty amazing how much brighter this space has become with just paint.
On the back and side of the snack bar I cut 8 inch sections of MDF board and applied the strips to look like paneling. They are slightly distressed.
The counter top edge was sanded down and stained in dark walnut to add continuity with the colors of the tile back splash, which was our inspiration for this redo.
We removed the one lonely cabinet to the left of the sink and added open shelves. It makes the kitchen feel so much more open. (link)
I have to give credit to my three little helpers..
Aren’t they the cutest little nephews you’ve ever seen?
The best part about this project was being able to see these guys every day and hearing the littlest one say “Holly made it!” (heart throb)
Thank you C, D and E!
