Last of the Pumpkins

Yesterday after the kids got off the school bus they decided
it was time for pumpkin torture.
(stems and pumpkin pieces all over the front yard)
I saved the last of them and brought them safely inside…
Some are fake and some are real here.
They add some festive Thanksgiving color.
I switched furniture around in here.
I don’t usually place my sofa diagonal but it feels good in this small space.
I just found that little bench at TJ Maxx for $50.
I am hosting Thanksgiving for a few people…I am excited.
So, it’s a good thing there are a few last little pumpkins to help welcome our guests.
I am ready to say good-bye to fall decor all together, though.
I guess my kids are, too.
(I can’t get a good picture for anything out of my point and shoot camera – grrr)

I Love that round frame. Where did you find that? Was it the frame to an old mirror?

I like how you redid your front living room! It looks very cozy now. Your pumpkins look good all grouped together. This will be your fist Thanksgiving in your new home this year! I'm sure it will be fun to show it off to your guests and make a memory in your home too.

Your home is looking all fallish and cozy! Beautiful as always. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! ~ Jamie

Loved seeing your house on Cozy Little House! Very pretty. And I know what you mean about ready for the pumpkins. Mine are still so pretty and I keep shifting them around but I'll be happy to see them all grouped together on the deck and Christmas stuff take their place. Peeking at your last post makes me look forward to yours.

Happy Thanksgiving. But you can't say no pumpkins were harmed in it's making!Bliss

Your pumpkins look so pretty. We just got rid of the last of the pumpkins, yesterday as we began the Christmas decorating. We put them in the back of the yard for the wildlife to enjoy.Hugs,Laura

Your house looks so pretty–a very welcoming home to your thanksgiving guests!

I've corralled what's left of our pumpkins and placed them in our entryway. As soon as turkey day is over they will be banished. I'm ready for Xmas decorations 🙂

Your home looks so warm and cozy with that wall color. And everytime I come here I keep eyeing your old doors. How many do you have, maybe I'm just lusting after the same one. haha. I have to get one. Soon.Leslie (aka Gwen Moss)

The remaining pumpkins are cute…I'm glad I saved a few, too, to get me through Thanksgiving. We have six for dinner and than a million for dessert! I just love getting together with family on holidays!Your living room looks great. I have my couch on an angle, too, I think it makes more room for me. Happy Saturday!XO,Jane

Absolutely beautiful! I like the sofa at an angle, it looks great in that space. Everything is so pretty, but my favorite is one of the simplest–the jars with the icicles!

Your pumpkins are so pretty, hope you have a great Thanksgiving:)
