A little change of scenery in a room makes the space feel fresh.
I switched up our mantel to freshen up our family room….

…with a french door.

absolutely gorgeous! I'm in LOVE with how you've staged out the mantel – so fresh and crisp & yet just the right amount of patina! I too have had windows & doors on my mantel (some think it odd) but I think it is COMPLETELY NORMAL!

Thank you for your wonderful comment. I am feeling better. I love the worn wood on the french door, you have a great eye for doors. Interesting about the numbers, I am at this very moment ordering those two numbers. 72 is my husbands Fireman number, I am putting them in the basement as a surprise for him.
